God has positive answers to our self negativity

You say: "I can't go on." God says: My grace is sufficient. (II Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)

You say: "I can't figure things out."  God says: I will direct your steps. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

You say: "I can't do it."  God says: You can do all things. (Philippians 4:13)

You say: "I'm not able."   God says: I am able. (II Corinthians 9:8)

You say: "It's not worth it."  God says: It will be worth it. (Roman 8:28)

You say: "I can't forgive myself." God says: I forgave you. (I John 1:9 & Romans 8:1)

You say: "I can't manage."  God says: I will supply all your needs. (Philippians 4:19)

Intimate with Jesus

Are you ready for even more intimacy with Jesus?

The cross has removed every obstacle and clothed us in white - we are the bride of Christ. We have oneness with him by the Spirit. That's grace . (And...this is not just for the ladies - it's OK guys you can handle this imagery too.)

Song of Songs 1:2-4 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth-- for your love is more delightful than wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out. No wonder the young women love you! Take me away with you--let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. How right they are to adore you!  Rev 19:7-8 The marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Jesus is not just looking for us to know about him or just to have faith in him. He wants us to know that we are one with him, like a husband and wife. Intimate intertwined lives full of love, grace and safety as Jesus, our husband cares for us.

This is not talked about much, I think because men find the bride type imagery hard to relate to. But in fact it's very similar to the picture the Scripture use of us, both men and women being son of God (Ro.8:17), something for the ladies to get their heads around.

Abba is faithful

Abba is faithful. No matter how hard our circumstances,we hope and trust in him. His love and grace are sufficient, so we hang in there, we are not alone, we are one with Jesus and one with his Body, the Church, signed sealed and guaranteed by the Spirit and the blood of the New Covenant. Praise him today for we are his beloved. Let joy and hope raise up within:  Psalm 108:1-4  My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul. Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.

FINDING JESUS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

FINDING JESUS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT:When reading the Old Testament we should be looking for shadows and types (Heb.10:1) of Jesus: His Cross, His Kingdom, His Church, His New Covenant, His Gospel of Grace.

The Old Testament is not a book of laws and principles to live by, but actually an Exposer of mankind's need to be saved and Gods plan for salvation through Jesus Christ. If you read with Spiritual eyes you will see prophetic symbols and types of Jesus everywhere in the Old Testament.

Jesus said "The scriptures are about me". They always point to Jesus in someway (Jn5:39), this should be the way we use them. You will find that if you read the scriptures in this way and in this spirit , to seek Jesus and His grace, they will come alive and make so much more sense. Jesus is the key to unlocking the Bible - by the revelation of the Spirit.

We should value the whole of the scriptures, but interpret the Old by the New Testament, not the other way around. Be prepared to spend time to look and see, you will be greatly blessed.

Map out the way Israel was called to set up camp around the Tabernacle and you will see hat from above they would have looked like a cross. A constant reminder to God of His Son and His grace towards this sinful people. See the symbolism?
